Just Exploring

Little by little we make small things big. Step by step we move forward. Following the right path, the Eightfold path, makes me calm, steady and happy. Did you find yours? Everybody has one, just some must look deeper or look for it longer. Just explore and it will unfold naturally.

r149
Here we are! The Travelers! The Explolers. Actually this is the end of our trip (the last supper in Guatemala) but I posed it here just to show you hove we look like. From left to right: Bob the quiet one, but always cheerful; Thomas the wise man, always interested what's going on; and me John the "story teller", always eager to talk and experience something new. Together a perfect crew!!!

The crossing

the crossing
First contact with central America's border patrol... and pretty bad. After 8 hours bus drive to the south (first plan was to go north from San Jose) they are telling us that we need visa to enter Panama -that means to go back to San Jose!!! Some 30$ backhander did it! What ever but we spend there couple hours in that crazy hot weather.

Isla de Ometepe

DSC01152
Ometepe, ooometepe... this song is still stag in my mind. I think this was the best part of the trip. It's because we met the best people. Yeah you Spanish viajeros!!! It will take a time to forget you. And also because Isla de Ometepe is definitely the nicest part of Nicaragua. Why? Well it's an island created by two volcanoes, witch you can hike, there is beautiful waterfall, some beaches, and really nice open minded people

Second international crew

DSC01192
Traveling is amazing! One never know whom he'll meet. We get to know lot of interesting people. Lot of young travelers. Everybody is unique, everybody have something to say to you. But sometimes (mostly later) I was fad up with basic questions like: Where you from?, Where you going? Where you was? What you do, or study? Well I know they are important and the easiest to discus, but what's too much is too much. But with these guys it wasn't like that. It was more natural, more real. Check the countries: Spain, Basque, Chile, France, Italy, Slovakia, Czech.

Mayas World

r133
Well well well... mayas are misterious! Not only the ruins they left are spectacular, but also the spirit in the people is almost visible. Guatemala is the best country we visited. First it was Nicaragua, where we spend most of the time, but then Guatemala definetly get the lead. And the reason is the combination of people and country.

Innocent child

DSC00945
Wow hove I like these kids. They are beautiful and innocent. We was meeting them all around us during the trip. They have peaceful childhood, but not really pleasant future. But they are happy! And if they stay wise they'll be happy even if they grow up. These people know that they have a lot even when they have almost nothing. Some of them desire to go to USA, well what can I say, everybody wants what he doesn't have. But many times he'll find out that the happiness is inside of him.

Exploring water fall and fall and fall...

exploring water fall and fall and fall...
No wonder everybody goes to Montezuma! We saw many water falls, but this one was definitely the most commercial one!!! Montezuma is nice small hippie town. Wow I will never forget the body surfing in the ocean. There are lot of spots like this in Central America, Montezuma is little bit more famous

jungle

jungle
This is like a post card... Typical jungle from Costa Rica. I thought that everything would look like this. This was the picture of Central America in my brain, before I get there. And well it's true, but not everywhere. I was surprised that the landscape changed, and so did the weather. It was hot everywhere but not so humid. I love the earth!
